Today’s primary technical challenge is to build mobile work platforms that can be extended to great heights and enable a wide lateral reach, mounted on a vehicle that is ideally compact and easy to manoeuvre – whilst of course complying with the highest safety standards. That is only possible with state-of-the-art technology.
With our many years of experience in constructing mobile aerial work platforms, we have always been committed to constantly improving our products. Each new product generation features innovations that offer greater functionality and are excellent value for money. Two examples:
- Universal frame for different vehicle models
This is a modular system that can be put together in line with your requirements and budget. To that end we have developed and built a universal frame that enables an aerial work platform developed for Multicar to be used on other vehicle models, too, as required.
- Automation of functions
We have developed a control unit that uses a microcontroller to substantially increase your operating comfort and safety. Each model has an operating panel with up to 16 fields on which frequently used commands have been mapped. A simple press of a button enables you to extend all four side stabilisers, for example. The automatic unit also enables a parallel travel function for work on facades to be set up easily. The control unit is available in two variants: first as a fully electronic CAN-BUS control unit for high performance or as a cost-optimised flow control unit. Electronic load torque limitation as well as HOME and MEMORY functions are a matter of course.

Further more all the van-mounted work plattforms can be fitted for instance with a Green Pack that enables all platform functions to be performed even when the engine is switched off. This means a lower level of exhaust gas and noise emissions, benefitting the environment and its inhabitants, and naturally also reducing fuel consumption.
